Dr. Daniel Teichmann is founder and CEO of Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies. With a degree in engineering, he conceptualized the industrial application of LOHC hydrogen storage systems during his doctoral studies at Friedrich-Alexander University (Germany) on the topic of “Design and Evaluation of a Sustainable Energy System Based on Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers (LOHC)”. He gained professional experience as head of the Bavarian Hydrogen Center, a state-funded research institution, and at BMW AG Forschung und Technik as a development engineer, as well as at McKinsey and Leoni, before fully committing to be an entrepreneur in the green hydrogen space. Thus, in 2013 he founded Hydrogenious together with Professors Peter Wasserscheid, Wolfgang Arlt and Eberhard Schluecker. This marked the beginning of LOHC’s successful journey from research to commercialization.
